“The world treats us equally”

The world treats everyone equally.

We’re all born and we all grown up before finally we’re put into the same dirt.

All that matters is what you do with those yours in between.

We might start out differently, some have more than others and some are more gifted than others.

But the world will treat us all the same regardless.

It breaks the weak and rewards the strong and the courageous and if you’re not ready to work for what you want then the world will do nothing for you.

No matter what kind of start you had in life.

“When something goes wrong”

You’re not going to make it.

If something goes wrong at those speeds you’re not going to make it.

I can’t understand how someone can willingly expose themselves to risks like that.

I don’t get it.

But hey, people can do what they want I’m not going to tell them to stop.

I will tell them it’s stupid but in the end, it’s all up to them.

If they want to do it then that’s fine by me.

I will be there and pull them out of the wreckage when something goes wrong.

“The world never changes”

The world had changed and I with it.

I wasn’t the same person who’d set out to explore the furthest corners of the world.

I’m someone else, someone I don’t recognize anymore.

The world changed me and the more I saw the more I knew I had to change.

The more I had to become someone else to survive in it.

I think everyone should go on a journey like the one I have.

Everyone should see the world, experience all of it and then come back home only to realize that you’ve changed.

Because for the most part you will have changed for the better and you will not be able to recognize yourself when you look in the mirror.

The change will be good, trust me I know.

I know that because I’ve changed and at the same time it feels like the world changed.

But the world never really changed, I was the one that changed not the world.

Never the world.

“End of a town”

It was a bad time and I didn’t know if it was the end of the world or just the end of an era.

The sounds all around me were defining and I could see children running down the streets crying.

Panicked, I tried to escape the town which I had come to call my home.

But to no avail.

None of us made it out.

It wasn’t the end of the world nor was it the end of an era but it was the end of a town.

My town, my home.

“Convincing the world”

I thought it was all over when all the guest had gone home and I was the only one left.

Maybe I should have known there would still be work to do.

Maybe I should have known none of my guests would agree to my plan.

But I didn’t know.

I thought my plan was foolproof and that everyone would jump on board with me.

I had overestimated my own ability to convince people.

So when everyone had left and I was the only one left it was time for me to go back to the drawing table and start again.

Come up with another way to convince people.

Because I knew I had a good plan and it was going to work out.

I just had to convince the world what I was doing was good.
