“All his fault”

He knew there was nothing left to do.

Nothing left to say.

She was leaving him and that was final.

It was his fault.

He knew it was.

Deep down.

But he tried to lie to himself.

All the way until she stood in the door and he was forced to accept the reality that it was all his fault.
