“The law wins in the end”

He was not above the law.

No matter how many people he kept paying.

He was never above the law.

One day we would be there and take him down and on that day the masses will take to the streets and cry tears of joy because their oppressor has been caught.

And I will be the one leading him into the courthouse to watch him be sentenced.

That’s the day I long for.

The day he’s taken down and my name will be on the first of every newspaper as the man who finally took him down.
