“Resisting temptation”

I tried to save what little I could but somehow the money just wasn’t enough.

I couldn’t make it work even though I knew it was possible.

I had to learn what not to do.

That’s what I needed.

I had to resist temptation and try to be better than my own addiction to material things.

But it was hard.

And I could never make the money last for the entire month.

Let alone try and save anything.

So that’s where I am.

Broke but I own a lot of useless stuff.
