“Life on the run”

There were a lot of them standing in my living room and I knew they were there for me.

My time had run out and there was nowhere left for me to run.

They were taking me in.

Finally, after five long years, they’d finally caught me.

And I was glad.

I would no longer be living having to look over my shoulder, thinking that every police car was out for me.

I would serve my time and then I would be a free man.

I saw them standing in my living room, waiting for me and I couldn’t help but smile because I knew my time had come and I wouldn’t have to run anymore.
