“A good life”

I was living a good life and it felt like it was never going to end.

But I was living a dream.

I couldn’t afford the life I was living but I kept going like I could.

And I didn’t care about all the bills that kept piling up on my doorstep.

Most months I didn’t even open them.

I was living the life I’d always dreamt of and I didn’t think it would ever end.

I didn’t think I would ever end up here.

  1. I relate to this. It had been successful for the longest time, years, until the past year. But I’m exercising my will. I’ll get it back. It’s been such a tough few months, like I cannot remember. But people are tired of my complaints. I am too. It’s time to stand up and start work again. 🙂
