“A good man”

You shouldn’t talk like that about a good man.

She told me.

I tried to make him see what that man had done to me.

That he wasn’t a good man.

That he was a monster.

But she wouldn’t listen to me.

She told me he was a good man and I shouldn’t be telling lies about him.

But she didn’t know.

She didn’t understand.

She didn’t understand what kind of man he was.
