“The wrong thing”

Before I was ready I had to make sure that I knew everything by heart.

I had to know that I wouldn’t do any mistakes.

There could be no mistakes.

So I worked harder than I had ever worked before.

I learned all of it.

When the day finally came and the test was in front of me I realized that I had studied for the wrong thing.
