“Understanding him”

I didn’t understand him.

I couldn’t understand what he was saying.

I tried.

Tried to figure it out.

What he meant.

But I couldn’t.

I couldn’t understand what he was saying.

I couldn’t understand what he meant.

So I couldn’t do the right thing.

I couldn’t do anything.

I needed to know what I was supposed to do.

Otherwise, there was nothing I could do.

And this time there was nothing I could do.
