I always knew there was something wrong.

Something I couldn’t put my finger on.

But it was there.

I knew it was.

It would be a long time before I found it what it was.

Before I found out what was wrong.

Unfortunately it was too late.

And there was nothing I could do.

I knew what was wrong and all I could do was watch.

Two things immediately came to mind–a parent with Alzheimer (sad) or what happened to me a few days ago…I made chocolate chip bar cookies (I know the recipe by heart so don’t even look anymore), get everything mixed, put in the oven, etc. Turn around and see the eggs on the counter! Well, $8 down the drain. Good story!
