“There has to be a way”

You’re not going back to work.

You never will.

That’s what they told me.

That I would never work again.

That I would spend the rest of my life as a cripple.

But I was never going to live like that.

I wasn’t.

I knew there was a way out.

A way I could get better.

A way I could get back to work.

I knew there was a way.

All I had to do was find it.
