What happens to the mind when you’re addicted?
And what lengths will you go to in order to get your next fix?
I remember how far I would go.
I remember how that was the only thing I could think about.
It was all I could think about.
Until I got my next fix.
Until I had it in my hands.
And I knew I was about to get that fix.
That was all I thought about.
And I would go to extreme lengths to get it.
So what happens to the mind?
What makes it possible to ignore the consequences of our actions?
Is it the addiction?
Is it the disease?
Or is it something else?
