“Something you can put your name on”

The first piece of work you create will never be good.

That’s something you have to realize.

You have to create horribly bad things before you can ever do something that’s worth anyone’s time.

You have to understand this because if you don’t then you’ll spend an awful lot of time thinking about what you’ve done wrong.

If you’re not good enough.

If what you’re doing isn’t the right thing for you.

Let me tell you this.

You won’t be good enough when you first start out.

You won’t know if its’ the right thing for you until you’ve spent a long time doing it.

So get out there.

Do all the horrible work that you possibly can.

And one day, maybe, you’ll have done something you can proudly put your name on.
