“Which one?”

She could have had the world at her feet.

But she flew too close to the sun.

He could have done anything he wanted.

But he ran away before he did anything.

Both of them had every chance in the world.

Only one of them tried.

And even though she failed she had learned a lesson.

Not to run from your problems.

He, on the other hand, never learned anything.

And as a consequence, he spent his life running as soon as things got hard.

Nothing could have prepared the two of them for what was coming when they were young.

No parents.

No teachers.

None.

They would have to learn everything as time went on.

One of them learned.

The other didn’t.

One of them succeeded in the end.

Which one we don’t know.
