Friday fictioneers – “The little spider”

The light shone on the lonely spider. Its web was made like a perfect trap, waiting for its prey.

Three days the spider had waited, and nothing had come. ”Soon,” It thought. Soon the spider would have its feast.

Something big blocked the light which shone on the web.

”Now,” The spider thought. Soon it would feast.

The shadow touched the web, and the little spider was sent scrambling to the floor.

”Eww,” Emily said as her husband used a piece of toilet paper to pick the little spider off the floor.
